Students in this program are expected to pursue master's degrees and careers in politics or public policy, especially in the social sector. Students strengthen their knowledge of sociology and political science while conducting collective and individual research projects. Students refine their writing, synthesis, and analytical abilities.

Students in this program are expected to pursue master's degrees and careers in politics or public policy, especially in the social sector. They may also pursue studies with a Master's degree in Change Management and Sociology of Human Resources, Corporate Communication and Social Media, or other Social Sience degrees.

This program prepares students for careers in politics, public administration, and social work. Students may also pursue studies with a Master's degree in Change Management and Sociology of Human Resources, Corporate Communication and Social Media, or other Social Sience degrees.

Study objectives

The Bachelor's Degree in Sociology, Politics, and Public Policy is designed to build on the previous two years of study. Lectures and tutorials allow students to deepen their knowledge. A thesis is written during the year on a topic of the student's choice, based on research conducted personally by the student. Other group research projects are also carried out in the third year.

Calendar

The first semester covers the period from the end of September to the Christmas holidays. The first three weeks are devoted to the first semester exams, to the examination panels and enrolment for the second semester.

 

The second semester runs from the end of January to mid-June, including the exam and examination panel periods. A work placement is possible.
