Schedule of studies
The first semester covers the period from end September to end-of-year (Xmas) holidays. The first three weeks are devoted to first-semester exams, to juries and to enrolment for the second semester.
The second semester begins end January and lasts until mid-June, which includes the second-semester exam period and juries. Placement is possible.
Your future career
Students on this pathway tend to pursue studies with a Master's related to social policies (social intervention, prevention, etc.), environmental policies or risk management. They may also pursue studies with a MACOR, COM or any other SHS Master's.
Study objectives
The 3rd-year Sociology Social and Environmental Policies pathway is designed as a continuum of the two previous years. Lectures and tutorials (TD) ensure students broaden their knowledge. A thesis is drafted during the year on a subject of choice, and it is based on a survey which the student has personally carried out. Other collective surveys are also undertaken during the third year.
