Entry requirements
Open as Initial Training, Continuous Training, "Validation of Acquired Experience" (VAE) Students must hold a General Degree - preferably a LLCER (Foreign and Regional Languages, Literature and Cultures) Spanish Degree), a 1st year Master's Research or 2nd year Master's in other subjects if they are able to prove they have a C2 level in Spanish. Access is also open if studies completed abroad are validated (C2 level in French for Spanish-speaking students) or if professional experience is validated.
Benefits of the program
The human-scaled classes in UPEM mean students are provided with tailored support and they may meet and discuss with their teachers whenever they wish. CAPES preparation includes regular written and oral practice sessions.
Acquired skills
The course focuses on three complementary areas: a subject-based course, a theoretical professional course, a practical professional course. The subject-based course is privileged during the first year of the Careers in Teaching, Education and Training (MEEF) with a view to preparing the CAPES (secondary school teaching certificate) whilst the professional course is prioritized during the second year. During the first year, as part of preparation for the teaching certificate (CAPES), subjects prepare students for this: literature, civilization, written and oral language, theoretical and practical professional knowledge. Placements are also proposed during the first year and will be developed further and completed during the second year through the drafting of a subject-based and professional thesis.
