Quality Safety Environment (QSE)
Entry requirements
This course is open to students with a high school diploma+3 years of higher education (Bachelor's degree) and/or students with 180 ECTS.
Students apply through a selection process which takes into account their academic credits, personal and professional experience and cursus, results to tests and personal interviews led to know more about their motivation and projects.

Schedule of studies
Courses start in the beginning of October.
Apprenticeship: one week of classes on campus/one week working at their company.
Your future career
After obtaining their diploma, students can apply to various jobs in the fields of Quality Control. They can also enroll for a Doctorate if they wish to go on in the research field (lab DICEN IDF of Paris-Est Marne-La-Vallée).

Study objectives
This professional training aims at teaching students how to become Quality Managers in services, production, environment or health and security. During their two years of training, students become autonomous and able to use tools to help them with decision-making in Quality...
Major thematics of study
During their first year of training, students learn how to work in autonomy and train their ability to use decision-making tools for quality in information systems.
Fundamental themes:
- quality tools (ISO standards, quality standards, customer orientation)
- an approach to company management, economy and organization
- tools for improvement (audit, FMECA, monitoring and feedback)
- languages and communication.
In the second year of their training, students deepen their knowledge in quality tools and management. Courses include:
- risk management, change management, lean management, HR, innovation...
- quality in services and health
- OHS regulation, environmental law, CSR
- ethics and personal development.
Study organization
Le Master 1 vise à acquérir les fondamentaux et la connaissance de la qualité : ses principes, ses référentiels, les outils que se doit de connaître tout·e qualiticien·ne à un niveau opérationnel.
Le Master 2 se focalise sur le management de la qualité, c'est-à-dire sur la stratégie de l'entreprise.
Les cours s'articulent autour d'une étude de cas qui illustre et permet la mise en pratique des principes de management de la qualité au sens large.
L'apprenti est chargé d'une ou plusieurs missions par son entreprise d'accueil, ce projet professionnel fait l'objet d'un rapport soutenu et évalué en fin d'année.
Des débats menés par des professionnels ou experts sont organisés pour apporter un témoignage vécu et amener la réflexion sur la mise en pratique des méthodes et outils vus lors de la formation.
Modalité d'admission en FC :
Le candidat en formation continue peut, éventuellement, valider une partie des unités d'enseignement en fonction de ses expériences professionnelles. Uniquement en accord avec le Responsable pédagogique de la formation, il devra déposer un dossier de candidature spécifique auprès du service formation continue (01 60 95 78 02, bâtiment Erasme, site du Val d'Europe).
Modalité d'admission en Alternance :
Les candidats à l'alternance doivent rechercher une entreprise dès que leur candidature est acceptée dans la formation. L'université peut les aider dans cette recherche qui se formalise par un contrat d'apprentissage (entre l'entreprise et le CFA Descartes à Champs/Marne) ou un contrat de professionnalisation (entre l'entreprise et l'université).
La formation n'est pas accessible sans entreprise d'accueil au plus tard 3 mois et 1 jour après la date de début de formation.
International
No international solutions are offered as of now. The course is in apprenticeship, which makes it unsuitable to international partnership.
