Entry requirements
The Master’s degree in foreign langages applied to international trade is open to students with a Bachelor’s degree, over 26-year-old adults who left university more than two years before and work . Individuals whose prior work experience has been validated can also aplly. Each application will be examined by the pedagogical team. Some students (those coming from programmes with no compulsory second foreign languages (German, Spanish and Chinese) will have to take a langage test (an oral or written one). The apllicants chosen by the selection committee will be interviewed.
Benefits of the program
Language practice : 70 % of the courses are taught in a foreign langage. Solid knowledge of foreign cultures and countries in relation to international trade. A good command of intercultural negotiation techniques in three langages. Aprenticeship for first year and second year master students. First year students : on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays at University. Second year students : On Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays at University.Apprentices work in their companies the rest of the week.First year students do an 8-week internship (or longer) at the end of the second semestre. Second year students do a six-month internship during the second semestre.While doing their internship , students are supervised by a tutor (within the firm) and by a teacher.
Acquired skills
Excellent communication and negotiation skills in both langages. Being able to fill in trade documents in a foreign langage. A solid knowledge of foreign countries : cultures, commercial integration, geostrategy and geopolitics. A good command of legal and financial management tools. Expetise in the conduct of of market studies. Client and supplier prospecting. Attending trade fairs.Being able to handle international trade relations and to cope with sales-related administrative tasks.Coordinating relations with conveyors, freight forwarders, Customs, insurers, banks, public bodies and local authorities.

Professional integration
This master’s course aims to train trilingual international trade professionals.
Study objectives
Training of trilingual international tade professionals with excellent skills in marketing, logistics, banking, foreign cultures as well as intercultural negotiation techniques in relation to internatonal trade.
Major thematics of study
Key subjects : English, a second foreign langage, law, marketing, logistics, accounting, international trade techniques, management, banking and finance, strategy and the theoretical framework of negotiation techniques.
Study organization
The academic year starts in mid-September with a 3-day induction programme.The programme comprises three twelve-week semestres.At the end of each semestre, there is an extra-week. During their fourth semestre, students do an internship.Re-sit exam sessions for the third semestre are scheduled in March, in May and June for the first and second semestres. As for internships : the minimum length of time is 8 weeks for M1 students and 6 months for M2 students. In June, it is compulsory for apprentices to attend a three-day workshop at the university. The defense of reports (PPT) for M1 students is scheduled in June and early July while the M2 dissertation defense is scheduled either in June or early September.

Les candidats en formation continue peuvent éventuellement valider une partie des unités d’enseignement en fonction de leur expérience professionnelle. Ils doivent déposer un dossier de candidature spécifique
Modalité d'admission en FI :
Diplômes requis : Licence LEA, Licence LLCE, Eco-gestion, commerce International, LP CI, VAP. Est requise une qualification élevée dans deux langues vivantes étrangères. Examen du dossier par l’équipe pédagogique avec production d’attestations de niveau (certifications en français pour les non francophones), entretien oral, tests (écrits ou oraux) en langues
Modalité d'admission en Alternance :
Des modalités identiques à celles des FI et contrat avec entreprise en cours de négociation. Eventuellement entretien avec le responsable de la professionnalisation.
