Entry requirements

Students must have earned 120 ECTS or equivalent within the framework of a Licence degree, Technical University Diploma or Advanced Vocational Training Certificate in Economics, Management or Social Sciences. The programme is in English, and requires a minimum B2 level (4 skills) and, for foreign students, a B1 level in French is preferable.

Benefits of the program

The programme is taught in English and is open to both French and foreign students. French students study abroad in the second semester and foreign students complete a work placement. Second foreign language or French as a foreign language compulsory. IAE-accredited.

Acquired skills

Acquiring general skills: autonomy, university work methods, the ability to analyse and summarise, written and oral expression and cross-cultural interpersonal skills. Pre-professional skills: understanding of the socio-economic sector, personal and career plan, contextualisation of acquired knowledge. Specific skills in management and quantitative methods.

International

French students study abroad in the second term (ERASMUS exchanges and bilateral agreements in Europe, Asia and the Americas).

This course first presents the general objectives of management control. It introduces students to performance appraisal and management methods. Practical exercises allow them to implement the tools. Strengths and limits of such tools are discussed.

Marketing research

This course is an introduction to Marketing Research. Its global objective is to allow each student to understand both principles and methods to conduct marketing research. At the end of this course, students will be able to (1) identify and search for the relevant information for a decision maker, (2) Conduct research choosing the right approach, and using appropriate methods, (3) Analyze this information rigorously to provide reliable advice to the decision maker.

This course is an introduction to human resource management in a multicultural and international environment. Human Resource Management explores how the proper management of employees contributes towards organisational effectiveness and personal satisfaction. The course provides an overview of the role of HRM and the basic HRM processes: recruitment and selection, performance management, compensation, employee safety and health.
