Entry requirements

This first-year Master’s is open to students with 180 ECTS (Licence degree or equivalent).

This course is a work-study programme.

Three statutes are accepted: apprenticeship / lifelong learning with a professionalisation contract / initial training (work placement periods).

The selection process takes place in two stages: pre-selection on the basis of application, followed by an admission interview, after which a panel of judges decides whether or not to admit the pre-selected candidates.

- Over 50% of the teaching staff are professionals from the healthcare and welfare sectors.

Acquired skills

The skills in this first-year Master’s are divided into three groups comprised of several subjects:

- fundamental and theoretical knowledge of the political, economic, social and legal context,

- auditing management tools, quality and project management,

- basic tools: computer science, statistics, English.

 

The skills targeted are in line with the management skills required of future directors.

 

Students can choose from two options: healthcare or welfare.

Your future career

At the end of the first-year Master’s, the course offers three different programmes in second year:

- Programme 1: Integration and Social and Solidarity Entrepreneurship

- Programme 2: Social Protection Engineering and Mutuals

- Programme 3: Healthcare, Welfare and Treatment Pathways

Professional integration

The first-year Master’s must be followed by a second-year Master’s. Three options are available: Social Protection Engineering and Mutuals; Healthcare, Welfare and Treatment Pathways Integration and Social and Solidarity Entrepreneurship.

Students are immersed in the professional world throughout the course.

Study objectives

The first-year Master’s aims to train students to use the management tools that will be essential for their future career. They are also introduced to the basics of the three fields covered in the second-year Master’s (social protection and mutuals / healthcare and welfare / the social economy), in addition to their chosen specialisation.

Major thematics of study

Economics, management and law.

Calendar

Classes are held between September and the end of June and alternate with work placement periods.

Minimum work placement duration: 16 weeks.
